Submit Articles

 

Sports nutrition experts are invited to submit articles or ideas for articles to the editors of Powering Muscles. Please adhere to the following guidelines when doing so.

1. We accept submissions only from authors who have a master’s or doctoral degree in sports nutrition or a related field, or have a sports nutrition credential such as the CISSN, or are experienced sports coaches or trainers with proven expertise in sports nutrition.

2. We are primarily interested in articles on the following topics:

  • Body Composition and Weight
  • General Nutrition
  • Nutritional Health Issues
  • Hydration
  • Meal Planning
  • Supplements
  • Ergogenic Aids
  • Specific Sports (Running, Cycling, etc.)

3. Articles should be 600-1,200 words in length. They must be well written, fact-based, and completely original (no previously published material). The information provided must be of practical use to competitive athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and/or sports coaches.

4. Authors of articles that are published on the Powering Muscles website will receive a small honorarium within 60 days after the date of publication.
